ATI is making nVidia search for cover. The only advantage nvidia had right now was in budget segment and now ATI is getting ready for the final blow.

You sure about this? 8800GT for 6K???

if yes, go for it. It will definitely beat HD4650 or HD4670. It's competitor is HD4850 and if you can pay 10k, go for HD4850.

HD 4850 can fall to 8.5k to 9 k mark in the comming weak then why not to go for it.

lynx india is already selling 4850 for 9.4k including shipping i have already ordered mine and itz already shipped might reach me in 2 days

^^ No date mentioned. I don't think they will release 4850 X2 anytime soon. It will become serious competitor to HD4870 and will be available for lower price and this would effect sales of HD4870. I doubt if they would ever release this card coz it's totally unnecessary at this point of time.

AFAIK, they will get more profit on selling 1unit of HD4870 than on selling 1unit of HD4850x2

AFAIK Gigabyte model costs 30k. Better not think about it.

And guys, 9500GT was never a success . People still buying 8600GT over it.
