Crysis vs Farcry

2. Beauty.
3. Natural habitat.
4. Variation in terrain and foliage.
5. And..which one would you prefer to spend your vacation on --- minus the bad guys obviously.

farcry vs crysis no way you must have made wrong thread.Farcry is pretty old if i had to compare crysis with old game that would be Doom3.No offence please

yaar, Farcry uses comparitively old engine named crytek sandbox engine. But the crysis uses cryengine 2 and it supports directX 10. So, you should not even think of comparing these two games.

anyway, you have asked the question and i must answer it. FARCRY rules,rocks,shouts,shoots,gonuts, and everything. It's an awsome game created in that genere. We can't expect anything better. The two main things i like in FARCRY is the visuals which are awsome even with a rig having 256 mb ram and 32 MB Vram. And the second, The AI. Farcry has most challenging AI in this industry.

Thats what I meant guys..beauty..visual appeal ..in the sense..I wish I could be there...!

Sorry anyways..friends..if you all compared the Islands..keeping game engines in mind.

yup, FARCRY was really a distinguished game, and Crysis is nowhere close to the beauty of FarCry Islands...
i really enjoyed that level where we ve to destroys the communication tower of distant islands...wow the waster, trees and foliage looked alive, even though not destructible as in Crysis.

If you mean that, crysis will not even dare to come into the boundaries of FarCry.

Note: heart is like a photofilm, the thing it sees first makes a parmanent impact on it. No matter what you do,you can't erase the image in it. you have to destroy the photofilm to destroy the image in it. I think you can understand.

Far Cry's AI would easily kick Crysis's AI back to the next oblivion.

Edit: Wooops! I guess I have to pick an island.I would like to rent a room in Far Cry's Island in that case.The blue water, awesome vegetation, different bird varieties etc.

Far Cry here man ....... its AI is simply cool ..... i mean in Crysis, they ran past me .. shouted some sh1t in Korean and then turned around and shot while in the Far Cry(who is MUCH older game then Crysis) didnt hav such GOOD faults Far Cry wins hands down ..... if ur toking graphics wise then man, come on ...... Crysis pwns every game but Far Cry's islands were something exceptional and stood out of the FPS crowd that time. Leaving alone graphics, Far Cry pawns Crysis hands down Classics will be always classics
