Default gfx card for 3k


hello,

after purchasing a ps3, i've got only 3000 rupees left in my hand. please suggest me a good gfx card in that range.

my config is

intel pentium4 2.66ghz
512 mb ram,
ati readon X200 series(onboard)
odyssy 400W smps.

hmm. pci-e and agp? that's not possible. what is the motherboard's model number?

I think you have AGP slot and one PCI slot.

hmm. this one has PCIe slot and two PCI slots.

Go for MSI NX8600GT 256Mb card

^^^Mercury. Donno why someone should buy crappy products from mercury.

I wouldn't even think about Mercury graphics card. Get EVGA/MSI/ASUS/Gigabyte/Palit

Its 3650. 3450's performance is equivalent to 8400gs, which is v. weak.

i love that idea. But my pc has no gfx card at all to run application like blender, maya PLE, a basic graphic card will do a good job. Mean while i'll download and play some HD content too which demands a good graphic solution. That's why i want to buy a basic graphic card. However now i am wating. SOme vendor in my town said that the rates of graphic cards is going to decrease in the recent future(1-1.5 months).

Thnaks for suggestion.

Sorry dude. My Pc with on board graphics can run Maya 8 PLE, 3dx max trial, AutoCad 2004 applications very well. But when i am rendering textures if i view in 3d view. The image navigation will be sticky. Now i am adding a gfx card(don't mind the range) i am sure that i can see a increse in rendering speed.

Clear dude?
