Games like Mortal Kombat
Hi All,
Is there any game like Mortal Kombat.. I mean new one. I have played them on TV Games, not on PC. Suggest a good game, so i can feel my gamepad.
List a few such games. I have not played them on PC yet..

Play Prince of persia with freeform fighting system 
There is MK4 for PC itself... then Ragdoll Kung Fu, smackdown and raw, and old stuff like one must fall and virtua fighter.
Not many fighting games for PC, you can go for PS or PS2 which have a large variety.

Street Fighter IV will soon make it's way on the PC.Wait & watch out for that.Apart from that not much arcade action going on for the PC.You could get hold of King of Fighters PC version.Also have you tried Mortal Kombat 4 for the PC? Try some PSone Mortal Kombat titles via PSone emulator.Try Mortal Kombat Triology which had a huge character range in any MK game on PSone.

Hi,
Try Tekken 1,2 and the Street Fighter series emulated on PS2 and SNES respectively.
Graphics not that great..but you can use all the keys on your game pad...!
Though even I am looking for contemporary "street fighter" type of games..any suggestions....the body contact sounds of these types of games..is awesome..!

^Tekken 1 & 2 were for Playstation one & not PS2.The emulator he will be needing would be Epsxe for PSone.

tekken 5 pc gonna release i heard smewer is it true??
btw u can play Gundam Endless duel....Its a SNES game so u will need an emulator....i playd it for many hours...liked d robots very much

^Sony has invested a lot in getting exclusive rights for this game from Capcom for their console.Don't think they would port it onto the PC just yet.

tekken 5 for pc????????????  . I think you are kiddig. PS2 exclusive titles will hardly come in pc like metal gear solid 2, etc. not tekken. never think of tekken for pc even in dreams too. More over, evey one knows that a emulator can do a good job for you.

Yeah little fighter is good too, except you cant play multiplayer(only vs) you can actually.. but its tedious...

I have played Prince of Persia WW, and TT. They are my favourite games, but what is freeform fighting system. Is it because that we can play and fight in our own way...

Yeah, you can "create" your own moves. You have several actions to do after you press a key, so you can chain them together to form a combo. Something like old fighting games where you need to press a combo for a power attack.
