Games not running

HI,
No games are running on my PC.
Doesn't show any error but NOT executing anyhow...............I'm totally frustrated abt it..........
Any help....any advice..........

Give us more details man... your system config, what games you are trying to run, you have dx installed or not... your os... your games are original or pirated... etc... how are we supposed to know whats happening on your comp?

DX:9.0c
OS:XP
Games: NFSMW and BIOSHOCK(These were running previously, after reinstaslling windows they are not running, NFS though show the splash screen BioShock doesn't do anything.)

I've done Full System scan with KIS...........no threats.

ok what u can do is a fresh update of DirectX and than update XP with all available updates.(SP3) Now if it dosent do, than re-install XP and also try updating your Video drivers. Go to NVIDIA's site and get new ones ok?

Buddy thats d one thing I don't want to do...........at least not right now

Planning to do the Format-and install game after a few days...........
any other idea?

You definitely need the latest video drivers, at the least.
