Mouse Problem in Vegas 2

Hi friends
I have a peculiar problem with vegas 2 .... My mouse doesnt work in the game .... I have to install direct X every time before starting the game .... What might be the problem ?? Any suggestions ??

Try with other mouse if was working or not with the same game.
You have not explain why you install direct X every time

better get original, maybe thats the cause..

One simple solution of all problem:

Goto original

It will be more better first clearly understand problem. Mouse problem may be occures in Original also.

Coz DirectX is not only responsible for drawing images it also controls the input devices like Keyboard, mouse and joy stick

I did not mention that I had Pirated Copy of the game ....
