I can play the game quite smoothly with mid settings at 1024 res with 8600GT and AMD 4400+ and 1 GB/667Mhz RAM. Running XP Pro +sp2

Yep seem pretty much true.Worked fine on my rig @1280x1024 with everything high but the frame rates dropped to 17-19Fps during ourdoor fights & when wading through high density crowds.It will work on your PIV based rig but the lag would be unbearable.Low settings again wouldn't make much sense as it would look very bad.

I can run it on my 7300GT at 1024x768 at high settings, but like allwyndlima, frame rates drop in outdoor and when there are too many objects to render.

well did you played it on intel p4.and what frames you get at the outdoors.

^^Not sure about P4... But your graphics card can handle this game at medium settings... I played the game with my AMD 6000+ processor
