Default Which Graphic Card for me?

I have a Intel P4(HCL beanstalk)...I purchased it in 2002.
Its 2.0ghz with 1 GB DDR1 RAM....Which graphic card for me????Is there any option of having an external graphics card.?Guys give me suggestions along with the price tag...I can't spend more than 5000-7000....

get ATI HD 2400 AGP. Its the best AGP which u can get. Its around 2.5k.

but will there be a graphics slot in ma PC???How to check it??and moreover are there any external graphics card in the market buddy?

No, there are no external gfx cards available.
Look for a long slot just above the PCI slots in ur mobo. And it ll have a lock machanism at one end. If its 8x or 4x compliant, then u can use any AGP card. HD 2400 is a DX 10 card nd performs gr8 for the price.
