Can a Dx 9 card run a dx10 game though with lower grafix?
Geforce 7900 is said to have more performance than 8600,so is it worthwhile to go 4 7900 ?
What is the best card u suggest in 7-8k range? please reply fast
will get my new machine within 2 days,i already ordered 7900gts,i have to be fast if i have to change it.....l.

yes dx 9 card can play all dx 10 games till date and go for gforce (asus)8600gt it is in your budget..

My 7900GT can very well handle most games @1280x1024 resolutions with medium settings.Crysis was a pain but yeah apart from that everything else would work just fine.If you are looking for gaming @1280x1024 then 7900GT would be a good idea over the 8600GT.
