Need Help on Buying a New Xbox 360

I am planning on buying an official Xbox 360 console and need a few clairifications.

1) What region is the console officially available in India and are the games available in the stores like Planet M and Musicworld for the same region?

2) Has anybody faced any hardware issues like the RRoD with their Xbox 360?

3) Are the Halo 3 and Elite systems still available in India?

4) Is the 3 year warranty applicable to India?

5) Which is the best place to buy an Xbox 360 premium console in Delhi?

6) Is there going to be any offers for the 360 around the month of May-June?

1) The Official Region for India is PAL . Xbox 360 games are available at all leading stores .

2) I Personally haven't but mine's under the 3 year warranty so i need not worry .

3) Yes .

4) Yes it is applicable worldwide .

5) Any Official Xbox 360 Retailer . Planet M or any leading chain is preferable .

6) There's already an offer running . So i don't think so .

2.if u get a console with a newer manufacturing date its not gonna happen.Not till its modded.though my october2006 model (unmodded) never has any problem.

Xbox 360's never gonna come with an 'integrated' blu-ray drive .

An Add-on might come but never integrated coz they can't change the core specification now .

2. I havent faced any problems till now,,,,,PAL consoles have a low failure rate.
4. one year for any problem and 3 year warranty for RRODs only..

U can connect it for using the media-center capabilities of the console..
for using it as a display u need a TV-Tuner card with video inputs...

They usually have nice offers in diwali,,,but i dont think u can wait till that...
And dont go for an unmodded console,,if it dies,,,ull be off with a shitty box
the xbox customer suppport is nice,,,u get a replacement console the second day u complain....
