Enemy Territory: Quake wars
It costs Rs 950/- from nextworld.in . Play the demo to see if you like it. Linux demo is also available. I personally loved it. And it was running better for me in linux than under windows( don know why though! )

Among Free games you have- Tremulous, nexuiz and alien arena all are quake 3 kind of games. They are available through the repositeries.

Ya you will find it in shops too. I have never checked in planet M and MW though but it's a commercial mainstream game so you shouldn't have a problem finding it.

Go here for more details once you get the game.

Arrow Enrapture

I know a 3D game, ENRAPTURE

Enrapture is an OpenGL based Roleplaying game in space.
It is influenced by the old masterpiece ELITE.

Enrapture is a game for the Linux Community but it will eventually be released for Windows as well.
The game will be released in several Beta Versions, where every new version is building on the previous
to form the final release.
The final release might be a commercial product, but it wont cost as todays games if so.

I have not tried this game,

Why dont u try Cedega ?
Cedega lets u run most windows games on linux
