New games not playing on laptop.

hey,

I am having one prob and i think i cant solve it but i think lets try here at last..

Whenever i am trying to play newer games in my laptop, all of them stops in same way.. It says "*** has stopped working" and close program..

I am having pentium dual core with 1 gb ram, 845 express chipset graphics.

I knw tht it may be because of no graphics card, but then why all stop in same way?

can it be problem of DEP or something?

games like age of empires 3, hitman contracts, blood money, unreal tournament 3..
all are givin me same error..

Hi all,

As no one ans my problem and i also was little busy in work, i gave up trying.

but now i searched and found a solution. this may help others also..

Problem was because of DEP (data execution prevention). DEP was causting the game to stop.

I finally get DEP disabled by following command.

bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn

try it if you are facing similar problem of starting game or any other exe.

How can a dual core run in an 845 system???It shud be 945
And games like UT3 wont run on GMA 3000 which 945mobos has.
Try some older games nd see if they work. If then there is no probs with ur system. Just update the driver for GMA 3000 from intel site. This shud solve most of the proble.
But games like T3 never gonna run on it as it requires TnL nd SM3.0

Laptops are not for gamers. Newer games can never be played on it

Under my computer properties on advanced tab, click setings under performance.
Now turn off DEP nd try again.

but but if u try to turn of DEP for particular program using Advanced tab, it is not allowing to turn of.

but using the command on dos prompt u can shut is down for ever..

and sorry my display is 945 one.

on that day i might be on high bcause of alchohol !!

i wil try to run unreal 3 on my lapy nw.. lets see what happens

get the updated driver. Intel's onboard gfx are becoming better nd better with every new driver release.

The 945 chipset has GMA 950 graphics.
