Frame Rates prob in COD2 ....

Hi friends ....is my config good enuff to play COD2 ?

Config:
AMD 3600+ AM2
Nvidia 6150 onboard
512 x 2 667 mhz dual channel
Hitachi 160 GB 3.0 Gbps
LG 700E 17" CRT

i am playing Call of duty 2 with lowest settings possible
640 x 480
AA: off
Refresh rate: 85 hz
Texture filtering: bilinear
Shadows: off
Dynamic lighting: OFF
Soft smoke edges: Off
Number or corpses: Small

and i am getting only 15-16 fps during the game ... is it normal for my config ??

i am using default drivers that came with my MOBO ......

plz help ...

Check Game developer site for Minimal and Reccommonded Config and you will know.

It's enough. I think you can play in 1280 with medium settings.

That's the min cfg:

1, 4 GHz Processor
512 MB RAM
ATi Radeon 9200 / GeForce 4 (128 Mb)

Optimal cfg:

2, 5 GHz Prozessor
1 GB RAM
ATi Radeon 9800XT / GeForce FX 5900 (256 Mb)

Do you have the latest drivers ?

now i have installed the latest drivers from nvidia site ...163.75 forceware for XP 32 bit .... but still 16-17 fps .......wat can be the prob ??

hmmmm.
Set the refresh rate to 52 hz or 60hz then see the difference

u wil get the frame rates as u are getting now...the main reason is the onboard 6150

hmmm.....are you running it in DX9 mode? Run it in DX7....it will be MUCH faster
You can change this in Render Method Preference

I'm assuming you are running in DX9, coz u said that shadows / dynamic lights are OFF.....those options arent avaliable in DX7 mode. & there isnt much difference in Visual quality in DX7 , except that weather effects, Shadows & dynamic lights arent available.
