resident evil - biohazard 4

hey.. any of u guys played this one?

i laid my hands on one yesterday (gf gifted it! lol) and tried it out... man this is really tough to play..

i mean the controls..- no mouse control whatso-ever...

no option to configure grafix..(though it ran appealingly on geforce 5200fx)
and u have to use key combinations to fire and reload.. man this is just useles......

navigation was really tough even through the menus..

u cannot even reconfigure the controls... guess this is a joypad/gamepad only game...

the storyline was okay... as gloomy as it can get!

i guess the game was meant to be launched only on consoles.... i dont know...

is there any legal patch to make the reconfiguration and mouse control possible???

man im getting bored due to the controls... otherwise i love the horror... a typical resident evil, good TPS as far as gfx is considered but really useless and sick controls...

guys, any comments?

Use joystick and there is also a mouse patch for this game.search.

Ya,theres a mouse patch available,which makes life easily.And yeah,it is basically nintendo gamecube game,which was ported to PS2 and PC.
Better use mouse patch instead of gamepad.

I played it on:

Intel Celeron D 2.26 Ghz
1.5 GB DDR 400
Geforce FX 5200 128 MB
160 GB HDD

Win XP SP2

Even after having enough RAM (1.5 GB),
The page file usage goes upto around 1.2 gb from 200 mb while playing the game.. a lot of HDD activity is also seen!

and all the RAM is used... only around 128 MB unused..

are the RAM requirements so high?? or is it a bug

i even treid it after closing almost all background tasks including antivirus and
explorer!!

but the results are same...

is it a bug or something???

Yeah i played it on my laptop.
Completed the game on keyboard.
Now completing it on my new game pad - Pro level.
