Halo 2 aka "PS2 killer" or "the game that sold XBOX" is awesome but halo 2 is vista exclusive(but not DX10 as far as I know).A marketing gimmick by M$,they thought halo2 will help them sell VIsta sh!t just like XBOX.There are 'ways' available which allows even XP users to enjoy this epic game.

i played the game today.
it is not as gud as it was overhyped.
gameplay same as halo.
gfx a bit imroved.
any news on halo 3 coming out on PC or where can i get one for XBox 360?
i live in north delhi.

Planet M IS selling Halo 3! Almost as soon after it got released! You can get it for Rs.1895.

You can get it for 100-150 Rs. Less from other stores though

How did you started halo 2 in xp? I have a modified version designed to play on xp but it doesn't starts. It gives a message 'either insufficient system resources or programme not installed properly'. My system configuration is
intel 82945g chipset, DDR2 667mhz 1 GB of RAM, dual core E2160 @1.80GHz processor and wd2500ks hard drive(250GB).
