Bioshock on ATI Radeon Xpress 200?
Has anyone played Bioshock on ATI Radeon Xpress 200 chipset?I just wanted to know whether it will work or not?I dont mind if it runs on 800x600 at about 15-20fps(without lag) with all settings low.
FEAR,Doom 3,Quake 4,Half Life 2 ran at about 25+ fps on my PC at medium/high settings.Quake 4 lagged a bit,but all others ran fine.
My PC config:
3 ghz HT
768 mb RAM
ATI Radeon Xpress 200 (256 mb,supports Pixel and vertex Shader 2.0)

No Man! I tried playing Halo 3 on my friend's new XBOX, The Controls really take some time getting used to.
I'll be buying one soon though, atleast to keep my brother from pestering me.
(There is GTA4 and NFS to reckon  )

^^agree.Just saw halo wars video demo---It rapes even the latest RTS games for PC.sigh...I can't afford XBOX360.

consoles are perfect if your into gaming , you should buy PC only if you want to do other things , if i could access to xbox 360 gold live i would have bought an xbox 360 instead of upgrading my pc...

I can afford Xbox 360 ,but the "Red ring of death" in Xbox 360 makes me wait for PS3 price drop.MGS 4 also makes me wait for PS3.

amba@ - You can try playing systemshock 2 for the time being.
Since bioshock is the 'spiritual' successor of system shock 2...
ss2 is really really good game and very scary(atleast in the beginning)

oblivion runs fine on 800x600 lowest, without lags that is

Dude Microsoft is Giving "FREE" replacement of all xbox 360's that suffer from 3RROD , what's the prob then .
I Too have a 360 , if i suffer the RROD i'll just get it replaced from my dealer , that's it .

that wld be a matter of opinion. IMO they aren't great, but don't suck either.
Also there are improved textures available ..

im running on p4ht 3.06ghz, 1 gb ram and that x200
it ran on 800x600 lowest, or u can even try 600x480 lowest. now if it doesent work then dont blame me it worked in mine. i suggest u try out the demo first

I Have 360 Premium , 20 Gig HDD .

Dude FPS is actually what causes lag , anything below 24 FPS willl mostly appear to lag or chop .

No dude,i mean stuttering.For eg,Doom 3 runs with 20 fps on my PC without stuttering.Even 15 fps looks smooth.So i want it should not stutter

Dont know abt x200 but Bioshock runs fine on my intel onboard X3000

Oh,if it runs on 965,then it will run on xpress 200 with that pixel shader 2.0 patch which was released for pixel shader 2 gfx cards.It runs fine because ur 965 has shader model 3.0
