I'm Thinking to buy this software Game Jackal Pro(formaly game jackal).Is it legal.

If you are in India, it is perfectly legal. Since the software falls under fair use of Indian Copyright Act and IT Act

Its legal everywhere. It lets you create the backups of your CDs, and save them from the problems of too much use.
