Default colin mcrae rally3 video problem.


hello friends.
i have colin macrae rally3.in that game there is no video i mean whenever i click the game it opens and a white screen appears and i could only hear the intro music.no videos.and only the text's can be seen.
well the game gets played but whenever i exit from the game there is no video.only a white screen.i also cant view the extra video from the game.only sound goes on in the backgroud.
i checked its folders and found that there are videos in the colin mcrae video folder.then why dosent it gets played.

is there something problem with the mediaplayer.

please do help.

cud be.

do you have any Codec pack installed?

btw check the size of those media files.

in CMR05, they are in wmv format, if its the same in CMR03, try to run in WMP.

sorry i know nothig about codec pack.please do clarify.
and that video folder is of 239mb.
and i tried it to run on winamp and wmp but no result.

i meant, s/w like K-Lite... Codec Packs.

is your XP/Vista updated?

yes my xp is updated.
no i didnt installed any codecs.
