Sync out of Range??

I hav P4 Dual Core 3.0 with Intel 945 GCCr..
When i tried to play Age of Empires 3, the monitor said Sync out of Range while the sound was coming from the back..
I had to end the game using Task Manager..
Any ideas to correct this?

i think it means u r trying to start the game at a resolution/refresh rate which is not supported by your monitor.....

so open the game in safe-mode & set the game to a resolution supported by your monitor...

U can also try to update ur gfx drivers..

Try running the game at the same resolution as your desktop, or vice versa if possible.

googled and found that this game doesnt support intel 945 and many more...
What do they mean does not support??
Is there any other way out??

at what resl. you are trying to run the game.

most probably as Stalker said cud be the problem.

not supported...hmm...u shudn't get a 'Sync out of range' message for that....

Can u start the game in safe-mode atleast??

Lower the resolution of the game

Deleted the user profile and started the game..
THe screen was flickering very badly...
then went into the graphics options and lowered all the graphics details...
Its running fine now..
