    Default Why doesittake too much timein loading a saved game in DOOM3

    MY 2 Ghz pricessor takes about 4 min

    Slower HDD, lower VRAM, slower processor, lower class/clockspeed/capacity RAM, take your pick. I would advise extracting the .PK4 files into the base directory. It knocks off some load-time. Also, if performance is paramount, you might want to disconnect from the network, turn off the antivirus solution so that it doesnt scan every file while its being loaded.

    pls mention ur full specs cuz processor speed doesn't matter much for games as compared to type of graphic card, ram ,HDD size.
