hello friends
i have a doubt, my granny is in LA and i want her to get me a PS2 as it is cheaper and has many titles in india.
what i want to know is if she brings it here will i be able to play with the dvd's i buy here(gray market) .
will i have to change some parts.
she told me that i am quite old for games,
what else should i ask? i already have a pc,laptop,ipod, and i got a real cowboy hat from texas.
please suggest some thing nice

Instead of all this sh1t, I feel you'd be better off if you got a modded PS2 here in India itself.
I got a modded one from Chennai some 5 months back for 6.5k and it does work damn fine. What more pirated DVDs are for sale for 40 bucks ..
But be sure to get the PS2 from a reputed seller (from SP Road), maybe Bangalore guys here can help.

Cost split-up:
1) Modded PS2 + 1 controller - 6.5k
2) 8MB Memory card (for game saves) - 700
3) Another Controller - 300

Total setup - 7k
