Low end games??
guys plz tell me some low end games for my PC...
as far as configuration is concerned, GTA Vice city runs pretty well on my PC...

mafia, age of empires old edition, quake 3, IGI 1,2 run fine on my PC...
havnt tried others... but having problem with these also...
Cricket 2004 ,cricket 2007, GTA San andreas...
when i install these games and try to play...
cricket games show some text missing all over the screen and in san andreas after the first screen nothing is shown...
but about six months earlier it ran without any problems...
the config is...
P4 2.66(64 bit) with Via sis chipset...

do u have any graphics card if not what graphics controller do u use.
check by righ clickin on desktop=>properties=>settings
u should see graphics controller there.
if vice city runs then san andreas must run.
how much ram do u have?

go for a Nvidia 128MB graphic card
it would be around 6000K i think
and even upgrade the ram to 1GB
that would cost you 4-5K

Isnt there any cheap graphics card...
my friend bought a 2.66 duo core with intel original and he is able to play all the games...

VIA/S3G Unicrome IGP sucks. I had this one in my old pc. First games used to run fine. Then I reinstalled XP and downloaded drivers frm site and after that no game was running properly. In every game I started facing prob. Even I updated the drivers still same prob. Anyways u shld get a gfx card.

hey tech-geek what are you talking man...
for 5k , you can get 7300GT
and a 6200 for 1.9k , all 256 mb versions...
6000 no 6K you can get 7300GT 512mb(gDDR3)
DEPENDS on your slot type, PCIe or AGP

and 64 MB cards are now not in the market, even 128 mb ones are now going out dated...

Your are talking about the LE and i am about SE. there is abig difference between them, and after all gaming also depends on System config i think.....
and other than that you wont get any options as such, rather than 4k for 7300GS...

u can play all games specified above on a 6200 256 DDR2 which is for 2.2k for XFX. But i wud recomend a 7300GS for 4k as shantanu_webmaster said.

for GTA SA, in "GTA SA User Files" in "My Documents" delete "gta_sa.set" file.

if you meant for GTA SA, that file stores the gfx. settings & all , in your case it might have got corrupted, so if u delete it, the game will create a new one
