Sims 2 in Vista

Hi guys

I brought a Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop which came preloaded with Windows Vista Home Premium.
I installed Sims two, but when I click the file this problem comes:

It used to work on XP though.........
What should I do?

I got two simple solution.

1. Contact the publisher and ask them for help.
2. Install XP along with Vista.

check the official sites for any Vista specific patch or visit the game's fan forums for any Vista workarounds.
