Default How to run PS2 Games in Progressive scan mode ?

Hi,

I have PS2 (SCPH 77006), and was wondering how to run Progressive scan games (Prince of Persia-All titles). We need the Progressive scan cable for PS2. Is it available in India ? can anybody confirm if there is any advantage of running in progressive scan mode instead of interlaced/normal mode ? may be some screenshots of two mode....
