You can play NFS MW on a 845 with 256 MB ram. I have played it. Other games are:
Hitman (Not the Latest one)
Tomb Raider: Legend (Some Occasional Hiccups will be there)

NFS UG2, GTA SA, AOE 3, Roller Coaster Tycoon 3, FIFA 2006, Cricket 2004.
These are the games which I have tested, mine is same like yours...earlier 256MB recently I switched to 512...and 80GB hdd.

But your system will run these games fine...obviously on low settings, close all processes including Anti-Virus and Printer Spooler Service as well.

I think your integrated graphics card sucks...so upgrading your RAM does not really help. My cousin has the same motherboard without and AGP slot, it performs on the same level as my p3 800, gforce4mx, 448mb ram as far as gaming is concerned.

If you read above, I already said that you can play NFS MW And GTA SA. But carbon won't be possible no matter how much ram you put in.

gta run but wen i go in display and advanced
as soon as i press advanced the game closes any clue wat happens and can i play NFS MW now

Check that all drivers are updated and DirectX is 9.0c.
And NFS MW can be played. Try it.

Vista basic may install but I would recommend you to run Vista Upgrade Advisor first. It showed my Mobo as non-supported and mine config is exactly same as yours except you have 638MB RAM whereas I have 512MB RAM.
