No. Unreal Tournament 3 is using Unreal Engine 3. That is why.

There are three series in the Unreal franchise.

1.)The original Unreal.Unreal II:The Awakening is its sequel.
2.)The UT series UT2003,UT2004 and now UT2007,or rather,UT3,are the sequels.
3.)Then there is Unreal Championship 1 & 2 for the XBox.

The entire franchise is woven around a conflict between the races,Human,Skaarj and the Necris.

The Unreal series concerns the battle between the Human and the Skaarj at a pieceful planet called Na Pali.

UT takes place many years after the Human-Skaarj war and involves battle for domination between Human,Skaarj,Necris,Robots,Krall,Nakhti.

Unreal championship is an extension of UT and focuses more on melee combat rather than a run and gun FPS.
