Max payne hanging on Win Xp..

I have AMD 1800+,AT31 motherboard,256 MB RAM,64 Mb Video card running Win Xp...My prob is that in the later statges of the game the game it hangs..
any workaround

max payne officially doesn't support win xp....try playing game on win98

i'm running Max Payne 1 on my XP, did not face any problem so far.

try playing it in "'98 Compatibility mode".

Erm, yeah run it in compatiblity modes and try, also, try a reinstall! Is the game fine as whole and does it crash w.r.t a particular level?
