Blue screen for NFS:Carbon

I installed the demo of NFS:Carbon on my laptop and when i start the game i get a black screen and then within next few secongs i get the Blue screen and sys restarts...i am not sure y this happens...i have even played FEAR and Farcry on the same laptop,so not sure whats wrong this time...help me guys

Here my laptop config:
Intel core duo-1.66GHz
2Gb ram
ATI Radeon X1400
OS:Windows XP Home

NFS:C demo is not fairing well with ATI cards. Anyways, what you may try is this:

* Get the latest ATI driver update.

* Extract the demo file and use AUTORUN.EXE to start the installation rather than using SETUP.exe.

* After installation is complete, update Directx9c to the latest Oct 2006 Version.

See if this works.

i installed the Omega drivers for the ATI and the problem was solved...tnks for the reply though...
