Hi guys has any1 played the new mmprpg guildwars? is it good?...And is it free?

I havent played it but ive seen a friend playing it and it seems to be pretty good. Also, a lot of gaming sites rate it quite highly.
The game is not exactly free, you have to buy the game initially and after that there are no subscription charges to play it.
