Is battelfield series a good single player game

i have heard lot about battlefield 2 and 2141 as multiplayer. but does it have good single player mode. if yes then i will buy

it is similar to the unreal-tournament series.........battlefield mainly concentrates on the multiplayer aspect

If u like killing bots in a multiplayer game then go ahead. I wouldn't waste my money on a game like this when i don't even have one other player to play with.

If u want modern war games with a gud single player mode try GRAW, Full Spectrum Warrior, FSW: Ten Hammers etc....

Yes, FSW is not an FPS......its more of a 'give orders' game.....just need to get used to it
