GTA 4 aNNOUNCED
HI GTA FANS,
Rockstar games has announced the next Grand Theft Auto 4 to be released in october 16 of 2007. It comes in PS3 and XBOX 360 (dont know about the pc version). It is going to use the Rockstar games - Table Tennis engine for its Graphics. For more details visit any game info site like gamespot.com and search for GTA4.

Affirmative.
I heard an unconfirmed rumour a while ago that Rockstar was going to stop making all future games for the PC platform obviously because of the rampant piracy scene. Heard they incurred substantial losses for the PC version.

Yeah but PC development gets difficult as well, handling graphics and all that sorts. Overall more genuine PS2 titles are sold in a percentage than PC ones.

Using an IDE ?
In PC they had to handle different graphical environments to give the best detail possible, while on consoles, the graphic ability is static and the coding is static for it too.

But developers like crytec says just the opposite. They gonna make their future game [crysis] only for PC coz they say most consoles r gettin outdated quickly as their graphics subsystem cannot be upgraded as in PC, no special tweakings can be done. Even the most powerful console like the PS3 can't handle crysis above med level-says crytec, nd the furure of gaming is always with PCs.

Do you have source for that or you just saying it for yourself ?. Piracy exist also in Xbox, PS2, Xbox 360 and so on. They is no way that piracy cant not stop. Iam sure they will be a GTA 4 for pc in 1 or 2 years after the release. If you heard of company of heroes that games does not have any copy protection, It has only serial that which should be played online. It is outselling world of warcraft, Has you can see games which did not have copy protection is selling a lot and making profit for the company. I hope that other company will do the same has THQ and StarDock done with their games.

Well PC is what has most piracy.
As for gta vice city, apparently it's a storyline of gta 3. So gta liberty city, vice city and san andreas are subsets of the gta3 series. They had several characters in common and were part of one storyline.
Gta4 apparently won't have any of the old characters.

Well PC is very cheap. So the piracy is PC is high and there are pirated version of XboX 360. The consoles are so expensive and the game itslef is like 2000RS.
Btw :- GTA:- SA Is very expensive.
