what are the probs that i may face if i get a xbox 360 from the us.can i paly regular film dvds and cds in it.shall my tv support the format and run the xbox.plz reply befor 3 today.plzzzzzzzzz.

You can definitely play the DVD movies for sure.You can play high-end games.
The XBOX 360 is powered by a multi-core Xenon CPU from IBM , coupled with
custom-built graphics chip from ATI. It dishes out frame rates smoother as
expected. XBOX 360 will be launched during the pre-Diwali season. So you better
wait. If you import it from the U.S, there will be import duty for sure!! So you'll
end up paying more!!

there..will be no import..duty..if some of u /u r...friend /family member is returning..from US...and if there are two or more ppl..and if they dnt have anythin much ( goods from foreign) other than ..X BOX 360...u definitely..dont need to pay customs...as the allowance is 12 k per person....and if there are 2 or more...its more than 24k...and customs official dnt even knw exact price...of 360....they can be fooled..and be made to belive tht its just worth..12-15 k...
u just need to know the tricks...i ve got many electronics. from singapore /US
without paying a single...penny to customs...
so theres no harm ...from getting it from US ..many of my frnds..got it from US /japan..almost 3-4 months back....

if u get it 4m the US u l be able to play only NTSC encoded movies.... not PAL ones wich r normally found in india.....
and ther mite b some DVD region code probs...!!!
