Age of Empires III strategy

i recently bought the game and i love it
this is a thread for all AOE lovers
plz write in about ur
1)favourite civ
2)why is it ur favourite
3)what is the strategy u use with it
wheter u boom or rush or turtle or do a fast fortress etc.
which units do u use etc
what is the best time to go to the next age
how much resources & units should one have before
going to the next age
4)which is ur favourite map

right now i use spain or germany and i generally rush
some times i boom
i like the Lancer and Uhlan
i generally rush to age 3 and then attack so sometimes i am left open during
the start of the game
my resources generally come from trading routes so i have to control and protect them a lot
i always make trading posts at the tribal villages for extra units
my favourite map is unknown

3)MY strategy is to build up a super strong economy base, capture most of the trade routes, keep them, then crush opponents one by one
4)anything that is green and blue

then slowly slowly attack my enemy
