DirectX error in Call of Duty 2

I installed Call of Duity 2 few weeks back.
It used to work fine & I played the game.

When I ran the game today it gave me an error & I'm not able to run the game.
So I installed DirectX 9.0c drivers from Feb 2006 DVD.But still the error comes.
What do I do?

Try reinstalling the display driver or update it if newer is available.
iF it doesn't work just do an overwriting installation.

overwriting installation of DX90.c or COD2?

Hmm . a bit info on the config would help ...

My Config:
P4 2.0 Ghz
512 MB DDR 400 Ram
80 GB HDD
GeForce2 32 MB

I know my graphics card is outdated.
But could play the game initially.I completed the training mission.
But when I run the game now it gives me the error.

May be I should try uninstalling the directX & re-install.But how do I uninstall.

Just reinstall dx 9.0c over the one and it will automatically recover the deleted files

Did u change the render mode by any chance ....

I reinstalled DirectX 9.0c & the Nvidia drivers & it works now.
