I am thinking of buying the whole Age series from MS. So plz tell me the names of all the games in the series in chorological way.

Also quote which were great and which were average among them.

Age Of Empires [1] + Rise of Rome Expansion
Age Of Empires [2] (Age of Kings) + The Conqueror's Expansion
Age Of Empires [3] (No expansion yet)

The best one thus far is the 2nd part with the expansion installed, nothing beats its simplicity and gameplay

Alternatives :
Age Of Mythology [Microsoft] + The Titan's Expansion
Empire Earth 1 and 2
Rise Of Nations (big list, look it up...)

Age Of Empires 3 . There is going to be expansion the warchief expansion

Proper choice of word is MS Games r always overpriced, rather than expensive.

I am wondering how much Windows Vista costs. (Around 10 or 15K).

It is cost nearly 500$ when it come to india irt will be doubled. It is too much for a software.

I think AOE III is the best game in the series till now..

I loved Age of Empires until I switched completely to GNU/Linux...Thinking of trying Battle of Wesnoth..I read the review inTux magazine..Anyone tried it ?
