LOTR:BFME problem issue

My pc specs:

nvidia 6800 GS 256 MB
1 GB crucial DDR 2 RAM
Intel 945GAV motherboard
Intel Pentium Extreme Processor
650 watt smps

My problem is this whenever i click play lord of the ring:battle from middle earth 2 icon the game runs but crashed on desktop how can i solve my problem.i recently install latest patch of this game but game not run.

this ,ust be a problem with Directx. install/upgrade ur directx, even if u have installed directx frm the cd, still goto microsoft website and download the latest version.

My system says i have Direct X 5 a version

Hey dude,
first install the lates forceware drivers from Nvidia and then try playing the game.

And DX5 !!!!!!!!!!!
You must be kidding.
If not, then first d/w a dxuninstaller and remove dx from ur system. Then d/w a fresh Dx9.0c and install it. And i heard that DX10 is coming. So u will have to d/w that too in the near future.
