East Delhi ka to pata nahin, but the gaming parlour WILL ROCK! Nicest config I've ever seen for the parlours! 8) People will surely get attracted if your friend will keep the prices down for playing on them.

Why are you getting 2x6600GT for the server. Better get 1x6800GS. Will be far better. Later when the business will rock (it surely will), buy another one and start competing with the 7800GTX 256.

Well .... he could instead go for an Athlon64 X2 4200+ and a 7800GT ........

Well .... for the client pc's .... why an SLi mobo ??? he could instead go for Asus A8N-E ..... it's very cost effective and performing too .... and why a 6600GT ??? If he plans to play at low res. then a 6600 should suffice ... otherwise nothing less than a 6800GS ....

And oh .... make sure he uses proper cooling .. the rigs are going to get pretty hot under hours of gaming ....

Two 6600GT on SLI gives far better performance than a single 6800GS

Well ... back at where i live ... it's as low as 15 bucks per hour ... but hey if the pc's are going to be so good .... then i'd say about 40 bucks an hour atleast .... for the first year or so ... then down to 30'ish .....

Default Hi coolendra

About the price: 40 bucks an hour seems affordable. But it is very very important to give affordable options for the regulars. For example, charge 400 bucks lump sum for 25 hours or 100 bucks for 3 hours etc. . Thats a big Psychological magnet for most people. You should be better than the competetion. Tell me what you think.

Appreciation... i love it .
Here's some more idea: 1) Give big group discounts. For example, if a group of people take 4 computers at a time, charge them 25 Rs an hour instead.
2) Organise gaming competetions. For starters if you can't get enough participants let the loyal customers play for free. Then reward in cash or in kind like offering bigger discounts(or free gaming). When bussines picks up, charge for participation.
The basic idea is to make it seem like high quality at dirt cheap price. But you are getting loyal customers in return which is everything for bussiness. Make sure you earn moderate profits for starters.

Well getting sponsers is a great idea. Then you will be able to pay hefty amounts as prizes. But probability for getting sponsers first time around is not much, atleast in our country in the current times. But it is still worth a try. Just knock the right doors. you may well get lucky. I repeat again-'it's really worth a try'. I could be wrong about you not finding sponsers the first time around.
The second time will be different. You will have results to show. Because i know this will be a great success.
And while i am at it, make sure you keep your customers comfortable. Its not just about the A.C.. Make them feel special. Also keep some nice things to eat and drink. Word of mouth are important especially in such business's.
I wish i get a chance to start a bussiness like this sometime. You people are gonna have a great time with this. When are you starting? I shall like to hear about how it's doing.
