Default win95 emulator


hey i downloaded an old 2d game but cant play it in winxp...i tried changing the compatibility and colour mode but can't play it.....can anyone give a good win95 emulator or a way to play the game??????

Windows 95 executables run without problem on windows NT, what you have must be a DOS game. You can try a DOS emulator like DOSBox. Or else you could make a dedicated installation of FreeDOS.

Incidentally, if the game happens to be a Lucas Arts game based on the SCUMM engine, using a program like Scummvm will be a better option.

i have tried but it wont work....i think this game is not a dos game as it had directx5 setup also with the game package...name of the game is return fire
