NFS U2 problem!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,


I purchased a legal copy of NFS U2 and played it but later on my CD got all scratched and I wasn't able to play the game.

One of my friends gave me a speed.exe file telling that it does not requires any CD in the rom.

I tried it and it actually worked but when i tried playing online i got the message that i was required to installed a patch.Being a person on a dial-up of speed about 40 Kbps ,i downloaded the patch(8 MB )

Finally when i installed it and ran,the file again starting searching for CD and refused to run.

I wanted to know whether there is any way i can run the game online.
Plz........If this is not legal please delete this.

i understand what meight have happened.

Do one thing backup saved file.
uninstall the game delete the folders where the game was installed.

Reinstall the game and replace your saved files.
Install the patch for online. And enjoys online playing.
And yes you have to put your cd in the tray other ways are illegal.

Your freind gave you the crack of the game dont talk to him he is a bad guy. These things are illegal.

When you tried to patch game with new version of files the "EA games" found that you are using an illegal copy of the game. so it denied you to play the game !

Newer do this again.

Where from can i reinstall the game?

The CD is all scratched and unuseable.

Moreover i don't know were the CD would be as i had recently shifted to a new house.
What should i do?

You could ask EA for a refund, or try to replace the scratched disc.

does EA replace scratched CDs ????????


guys plz let me kno... coz i have some scratched cds .....

but i dont think its possible...
