I vote for Civilization 4 and F.E.A.R. for the PC.
For the PS2, i vote for Indigo Prophecy.

hmmm...i haven't played much games in 2005 but amongst the ones i played, i really liked Prince of Persia Warrior Within....more because of its story....Call of Duty 2 is also not too far behind!!

I would pitch in my vote for Indigo Prophecy a.k.a. Fahrenheit. It was one of the most refreshing changes in this genre.

One more game worth mentioning was Brothers In Arms: Road To Hill 30. This was the game that infused new life to the stagnating WWII based FPS.
