Default NFS:Most Wanted Screw Me! Help

started this nfsmw completed most of d challanger series....now was d time for career mode....started it....looks awesome....played it thruout 3 hrs....went quite far ahead beating some rank holders.....

now it came 2 d screwing part...i have "auto-save feature enabled" so i didnt bother saving my progress as theres always a short msg of saving wit every progress....i came back next time selected "resume" in career....it started from almost d begining (d 2nd scene, video)....getting out of d shock...i crossed my fingers...went to load game n it also did d same thing....my all eye-straining n finger paining efforts r gone....wat did i do wrong there?

ps:- while starting career do we need to create a new profile (other than d current) or we can overwrite d current one?

help me as im starting it all again tomorow.....but after your replies...thanx

cheers

I think that if you quit the game from inside the Career Mode Safe House, your progress is not saved. You need to first quit the Career Mode, go to the Main Menu and then quit. I'm not entirely sure about this though. Give it a shot - complete 2-3 races and try it out to see if it works.

This is not true dude. The game does save if you quit from the safe house.

@Hell's Fury: Like I said, I wasn't sure. It happened once that I quit from the Safe House and it didn't save my progress. Had to go back and make another huge bounty run to get my shot at the next Black List racer. Or it might just be some bug in the game or something. Anyway, speedyguy is doing the right thing by actually saving manually!!
