game crash

i have p4 ,256 ram,xp sp2

geforce 2 mx 100/200 64mb card

whwnever i tried to install directx 9.0c ,my system show only 9.0b
i have reinstall,install from various cd ,restart the computer
but my system shows only 9.0b directx

i have sims 2 which support my graphic card gave error cannot find directx 9.0c
i find the same problem with other new games too
please help whats the problem

try reinstalling your graphics card
by the way since you have installed SP2 you dont need to install DX9.0c as it is included in it
