gta edition?

i hav san andreas installed in my pc
how do i know which edition is it?
it is some strange language in setup,i manage to install anyways
now i want to hav a patch for it(32mb card crash fix), i downloaded the
us edition, it doesn,t work maybe some other language spanish,german i
don't know

pls hlp

Well, you can check versions by going to the gta installation folder And looking for some dll files. If u have windowsxp, then there may be the version written below the file name. If not, then try opening its properties.
Try for any of the dll files, one of them must contain the version no. Then you can verify whether your patch is new or if you even require patching. 8)

i hav downloaded all da 3 patches
but it always say "Old file couldn't found, contents dont natch"

well, might as well, try reinstalling it. Your saved files will not be deleted, which u can restore later.

I think when SA starts up, the version info. is mentioned on the top-right hand corner of screen, if my memory serves me correctly. Anyway, just right-click on GTA-SA.exe, choose Properties > Version. The file version will be listed right there.
