second sight

i installed second sight
started it viewed the cutscene but after it ends (when the actually game should start, it comes back to my desktop)
i hav AMD 2000, 512mb ram, geforce2 32mb

it is problem in the game or my system


p.s. i think the game is really cool......

Hey Nishant i think 32 MB is less than the minimum GPU memory required to run the game.Minimum is 64 MB i think so.But since u r saying that the cut scene is playing the game should also play.Try reinstalling Direct X or updating ur drivers.If i were to be in u r position i would go for a graphic card upgrade.

FX 5200 (128 MB) - Rs 1900 , 256 MB costs Rs 3400
FX 5700 (128 MB) - Rs 3600 , 256 Mb costs Rs 4800
Geforce 6200 (128 MB Non Turbo Cache) - Rs 4100
Geforce 6600 GT (128 MB) - Rs 8900 , 256 MB costs Rs 10100.

Out of these cards 6600 GT gives great performance.

There was the same problem with me in AOM 3. The cut scene plays and I am back on desktop. Do i need to add gfx card? I don't have one.

My config:-

Intel P4 256 MB ran
40 GB HDD

Hey Chirag due mean Age Of Mythology,then it does play on an onboard graphic chip (mention ur mobo model).If the game u mentioned is Age Of Empires III,then u certainly need a GFX card.

My mobo is VT8751 Via chipset. R u ssure that i will need gfx card? I will get after 7 months.

i know i hav to upgrade but soon
i am planning to invest for 256mb later maybe next year
becuz buying now 128 mb won't be futuristic card will be outdated in a year isn't it?
my drivers are updated, dx 9.0c , i think game may be corrupted .......
u said that the cutscene is playing game must run yesss u r right
becuz who doesn't have gfx card cannot run the game (in his pc the exe doesn't open at all!!!!)
