XBox OFFICIAL India Launch!!!

XBox is gonna be released OFFICIALLY in India by Sujata Softech. Negotiations with Microsoft Game Studios have been on for quite some time now and it is confirmed that XBox consoles will be available at retail outlets across the country by the 3rd/4th week of October. No sepcific pricing details r available. It was said, however, that it will be priced 'competitively' (yeah yeah! )

Games published by Microsoft and Ubisoft will be part of the initial offering for Indian gamers opting for the XBox. Halo2 for the XBox will be available from Nov 9th 2004 onwards; it will be released by Sujata Softech as well.

When the Director of SS, Ms.Anjali Berlia was asked about the threat of piracy..she said "At Sujata we believe that piracy is not a threat to us but we are a threat to piracy, the reason being the high quality of our gaming products and our amazing pricing." No offense ma'am, but .

Haven't read it yet, but the CD packaging is non-existent and the screenshots qulaity needs to improve quite a bit. Obviously doesn't come newhere close to Digit )

I don't think they are ever going to launch xbox in India..Software piracy in india is eating up the gates.

Hmmm Then Finally The XBox will Come To India After all.....But What The Hell Tons Of XBox Fans Have Already Imported Their Copies Way After Its Release.....The Official Release Wont Pick Up That Much In India I Guess cause Few Are Aware About This Console's (For Xbox Atleast)......And Nov 9 2004 Has Passed Way Back Still No Sign Of Halo 2 Or Its Supporting Console(Xbox)

From what Ican remem they were stalling due to the lack of braodband in India. Remem X-box live is one of their main incomes for the X-Box. And without broadband well u get the pic. Lets see I dont think its been cancelled just stalled. They migh just stall it and release it with X-Box 2

Sujata softech doesn't even UPDATE there website, and they are Threat to Piracy? With those kind of Boring Titles? Ha ha! It's the funniest Thing i Have Heard in my Life! Simply: SS is one of the Worst Game Distrubuters in India.( 1st Place is Reserved for World Wide CD Roms)! And about XBOX, a Dealer in My City, is selling It. NO PROBLEMO for Me. But i am more than Happy with my Small PS2

The xbox deal has been stalled for sometime i think...........the main reason could be software piracy, lack of console gaming culture, bb like icecoolz said ...............
