AGP Slot

My motherboard Doesnt hav an AGP slot.But i want to intall one.

Hav any idea.

AGP slot can't be installed, it is a part of ur motherboardand embedded on it
u will have to buy a new motherboard having an AGP slot.

wot motherboard do you haf? if its a newer one, it will most prob haf pci-e slot.

anyway it has pci slots. so geting a new grafix card?

U gotta buy a new one.
By the way, my friend has 2.4Ghz P4 and the bast*rd assembler gave him mobo without agp slot to increase his profit margin. (obviously we weren't aware of eachother's existance at that time.)
PCI-e weren't existed that time.

Its a very major problem. Vendors/Assemblers/local-pc-wallah dont give you a motherboard with AGP/PCIe slot quite often. This is because they personally think that Intel's (or VIA/S3/NVIDIA/whatever) onboard graphics is really good enough. One has to specifically specify the motherboard if they want something decent.

AcceleratorX u r absolutely right the same problem is with me, the shop frm where i upgraded my pc also gave me motherboard without AGP slot
