Default San Andreas sound

I've got a problem. I've just got GTA San Andreas and have started playing it. However, when the cutscenes are shown there is no sound at all, the characters just murmur something. When it gets over, the sound starts again. Also, there is no radio music as when it is switched on, there is a harsh noise of tuning and then no sound. Kindly tell me what the problem is as San Andreas is no good than a charlie chaplin movie without the sound!
Savvy!

I am not totally sure but it looks to me that either you've done a 'minimal' installation of the game(to save hdd space). One of my friends complained about the same problem that you're facing and he hadn't done a 'complete' installation of the game.

But barring that, I've installed the game from a DVD, and still, occasionally, I get the loss of audio in the cutscenes. But the radio stations all work fine.

Sorry... can't be of much help.

Maybe you have the pirated ripped version of the game. Go for the Orginal DVD Version.
