can any tell me how to uninstal the directx versions

If u want to UNINSTALL the DIRECT-X and reinstall the new ones then u need not uninstall ur older version as a newer version of Direct-X will automatically overwrite ur older version..

But if u wanna remove it (and dont wanna install a newer version) then follow Mr.rajas700's link..

There is nothing called Direct Y. Try Googling for it. No results Found for 'DIRECT Y'.

She was probably joking only!
