problem with splinter cell 1

hey guyz i m having problem running the game splinter cell 1.
when i start the game although i dont get any error msg but instead the black screen comes and my computer hangs.even task manager fails to open.
my system configurations :
intel pentium 4 cpu 1.60 ghz
microsoft windows xp pro
256 sd ram
80 gb hard disk
32mb video card(s3 graphics pro savageddr)
directx 9.0c
plz help me out

HI Roxisayshi,
I think ur video card doesn't meet the minimum requirements to play the game.Other specs r more than enough.May be updating the drivers might help.

well my video card is already updated.but still there is a problem.
i think u r rite .my video card may not support dis game.
but is their any other way i can run dis game.any tweaks ??????

hey,
are u trying to start the full game ? if yes, then first try the demo of the game. it will exactly show you how your full game will perform on ur system, so you don't have to waste money for buying the whole game.
