Conditon Zero how to go online

how can i play cs:condition zero online. we play in lan but dont know how to host and connect online

The million dollar question is whether you have a genuine copy of CZ, if not then you can't use it online.

yeah i think you need steam to do that

You need the latest version [downloaded frm steam] to connect to a server running the new version.
if you are not using genuine cz you will not be able to update and the server list will come blank or even if anything shows up you will not be able to connect to the server.
